Hall Hire – Documents, Procedures and Charges.

From August 2021 all documents,  procedures and charges for Hiring the Main Hall at Herne Farm have been reviewed and updated.

To Hire the Main Hall you will be required to complete one of the three new ‘Hall Hire Agreement Forms’.

    1. Single Hire:      Used for a single hire of the Hall for a Meeting, Party or Single Event.
    2. Multiple Hire: Used for a multiple hire of the Hall for Events, Organisations or Societies.
    3. Classes Hire:   Will be used similar to the multiple hire form, but only for the hire of the Hall for Classes (Fitness and Exercise).

Please Note:
By signing the relevant ‘Hall Hire Agreement Form’ you are agreeing to theConditions of Hireand Special Conditions of Hiredocuments.
Both Agreement forms for ‘Multiple Hire and Classes Hire’ are Annual Agreements (12 months), and when they expire they will need to be renewed.

Hall Hire Charges:

    • The Hall Hire Charges will be reviewed annually.
    • All Hall Hires are subject to a returnable deposit, (Normal deposit is £100.00, but private parties for 18 year olds and above it is £250.00).
    • Some Hirers may receive a discount, this will be at the discretion of Herne Farm Limited, (only one discount allowed per Hire Agreement).
    • Residents will receive a 10% discount, (proof of residency will be required).

1. Single Hire Agreement.

(Meeting, Parties or Single Event).

This agreement form is for a ‘Single Hire’ of the Main Hall for:

  • Meeting – One-off meeting by an organisation, or company.
  • Party – An ‘Entertainment License’ is required if any music is to be played.
    If you require ‘Alcohol’ then the Bar must be part of the Hire, and some restrictions will then apply. 
  • Single Event – One-off event by an organisation, group or company, for example selling goods, pottery or wine tasting.

Please complete the ‘Single Hire Agreement Form’ and return it to the Centre with any fees and deposit.

All Hires are ‘Provisional’ until full payment has been received including the returnable deposit.

2. Multiple Hire

Events, Organisations or Societies

This agreement form is for a ‘Multiple Hire’ of the Main Hall for:

  • Events – Multiple Hires for events on a regular basis, for example selling goods, pottery or wine tasting. 
  • Organisations – When a regular hire is required for meetings or functions.
  • Societies – When a regular hire is required for meetings or functions.

Please complete the ‘Multiple Hire Agreement Form’ and return it to the Centre with any fees and deposit.

All Hires are ‘Provisional’ until full payment has been received including the returnable deposit.

3. Classes Hire

Fitness or Exercise Classes.

This agreement form is for a ‘Classes Hire’ of the Main Hall for:

  • Fitness Classes – When you require to Hire the Hall for regular fitness classes.
  • Exercise Classes – When you require to Hire the Hall for regular exercise classes
